Rewilding Days

On average, we get together about once a season for a wilderness day in the locality. We have gone on walks through woods in the summer, autumn and winter (trudging through ankle-high snow on one occasion) and along the Thames river. Each day usually starts with a gentle walk followed by hot chocolate and cake in one of the members’ houses or in a local cafe.

This summer, we hope to organise a day retreat on a Saturday to visit a local National Trust property, a BBQ in a member’s garden, and in the autumn, we’re thinking of doing a glow-worm walk – apparently there are some in the woods nearby! Get in touch with Libby if you want to know more.
